55 feet snake shocks World - Said to be 140 Years Old!

Photograph purporting to show a 55ft snake found in a forest in Malasia has become an internet sensation.

The thread claimed the snake was one of two enormous boas found by workers clearing forest for a new road. They apparently woke up the sleeping snakes during attempts to bulldoze a huge mound of earth.
“On the third dig, the operator found there was blood amongst the soil, and with a further dig, a dying snake appeared,” said the post.
“By the time the workers came back, the wounded boa had died, while the other snake had disappeared. The bulldozer operator was so sick that he couldn’t even stand up.”
The post claimed that the digger driver was so traumatised that he suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital and later died.
The dead snake was 55ft (16.7m) long, weighed 300kg and was estimated to be 140 years old, according to the post.

I want to Marry my Mother

A Zimbabwean woman and her son have done the unthinkable – they have fallen in love with one  another. And now they want to  marry since the mom, Betty Mbereko from Mwenezi in  Masvingo, is six months pregnant and expecting her son’s child.

Mbereko (40), who was widowed 12 years ago, has been  cohabiting with her first child,  Farai Mbereko (23).

She confirms that she is six months pregnant and that she  has decided it is better to
“marry” her son because she  does not want to marry her late husband’s young brothers, whom she says are coveting her.

Betty stunned a village court last  week when she said the affair  with her son had begun three years earlier.

She said after spending a lot of  money sending Farai to school  following the death of her
husband, she felt she had a right to his money and no other  woman was entitled to it.

“Look, I strove alone to send my son to school and no one helped  me. Now you see that my son is
working and you accuse me of  doing something wrong.

“Let me  enjoy the products of my sweat,” she told the village court.

Farai said he was more than  prepared to marry his mother and would pay off the ilobola
balance his father had left unpaid  to his grandparents.

“I know my father died before he  finished paying the bride price and I am prepared to pay it off,”
he said.

“It is better to publicise what is  happening because people  should know that I am the one  who made my mother pregnant.

Otherwise they will accuse her of  promiscuity.”

But local headman Nathan  Muputirwa says: “We cannot allow this to happen in our  village, mashura chaiwo aya, (This is a bad omen indeed). In  the past they would have to be killed but today we cannot do it  because we are afraid of the  police.” He warned them to break off their marriage or leave his  village.

They chose the latter and have left the village for an unknown destination.

Sahara Reporters, if this photo journalist was your staff  'How on Earth did he get up on that podium' in the first place? Now if this was in US, and I imagine a photo journalist getting too close for comfort, that man would have been knocked down flat by security. I'm sure the person that took this picture knows what his lens is meant to be used for. Your Photo Journalist should use his camera instead of going too close to pose for the camera. LOL!

BOKO HARAM'S 'WESTERN EDUCATION' IS DEAD

In the west, the traditional educational system was designed during the industrial revolution, when the masses moved into urban areas to work in factories.

They created an effective method of training the following generations of factory workers. Children were instructed to memorize and regurgitate facts – to stop working when the bell rings – to sit in nice, neat rows of desks and ask for permission to move. It is no longer relevant in our modern culture.

Today, successful people work on projects not factory lines. They are rewarded for creating things rather than following orders. And, they are expected to adapt quickly to change within their profession, rather than working at the same job for 50 years. As we peek into the uncertain future of the 21st century.... So Boko Haram please explain the education you are rejecting because western education is not what we are getting here with the mediocre education system we have in Nigeria.
